Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress, is well-known for her role as her character of Dr. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama "Providence" and as Dr. Lane Hunter in the The Resident, a medical drama. The actress is best-known for portraying the detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama 'CSI NY", she played Dr. Lane Hunter at the medical drama The Resident.'
