Michele Carey, born Michele Lee Henson was the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr who was a physician in America, and Thelma B. Burnell Henson. Michele Carey, or Michele Lee Henson, was born on the 26th of February 1942 in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America. In her teens, Michele had mastered piano. At the age of thirteen, she was the winner of a competition during the Chicago Music Festival. Her home was within Fort Collins, Colorado with her family. She completed her secondary education in Fort Collins High School where she completed her studies in the year 1960. In the pursuit of her career goals she was able to decide to move from Colorado to Los Angeles for better opportunities. In her early career, she worked as a model and signed to Powers. Powers modelling agency. As she began modeling, she realized that her love for acting increased and Hollywood producers were interested in her. Her first appearance was on The Man of U.N.C.L.E., a television series. Michele who happened to be one of the renowned American entertainers began her profession as a model. She was employed by the Powers agency, before moving into acting, in 1964, in the show The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Her performance on El Dorado 1966 as the protagonist, Josephine Joey MacDonald who brought the spotlight to her. The roles she played in the 60s and 70s helped make her an acclaimed actress.
